 - Tuesday  night Bedikat Chametz -Searching for the Chametz after 8:02 pm

Beracha " Baruch Ata...Al Biur Chametz"

Wednesday April 5 

- Fast of the First Born on erev of Pesach  This commemorates the miracle which spared the firstborn Jewish sons from the plague which struck down the firstborn sons of the Egyptians.

- Shacharit 7:00 AM  with the Spanish Followed by a Siyoom for the First male borns (Gemara reading instead of Fasting). 

Male first borns must fast until the Seder unless they participate in a Mitzvah meal example. Brit Milah, wedding or a Siyoom of a tractate (Mishna, Gemara, Talmud). 

It is a Mitzvah very highly regarded by in our Lebanese Community. 

If a 1st born child is under 13 (Bar Mitzvah) the Father typically comes to Synagogue

 

- Stop eating Chametz before 10:22 am   

- Burning and elimination of  Chametz    before  11:39 am

 

-Eruv Tavshilin before candle lighting 

-Mincha 6:45 pm followed by Arvit @ Magen 

- 1st Seder Night

Candle lighting before 7:09 pm

-Hatsot 12:56 Am

The Afikoman must be eaten no later than 12:56 am 

Thursday April 6th

 -Thursday morning  Shacharit 9:00am

  Tikun Hatal 

-Thursday evening 2nd Seder night 

 -Candle lighting after 8:15 (from an existing fire)

-Mincha 6:45 followed by Arvit 

-1st night of Omer 

-Hatsot 12:56 Am

Mercredi 5 Avril 

- Jeûne des premiers-nés le jour de Pessa'h  Ceci commémore le miracle qui a épargné les premiers-nés juifs de la peste qui a frappé les premiers-nés égyptiens.

 

- Shaharit 7h00 avec la Spanish Suivi par un Siyoum pour les premiers mâles nés (Lecture de Guemara au lieu de Jeûne).

Les premiers-nés de  masculin doivent jeûner jusqu'au Seder à moins qu'ils ne participent à un de repas de Mitzvah. Brith Milah, mariage ou Siyoum d'un traité (Mishna, Guemara, Talmud).

C'est une Mitsva très appréciée par dans notre communauté Libanaise.

Si un enfant 1er né a moins de 13 ans (Bar Mitzvah), le père vient à la synagogue
