The time has come where one of the most important Holidays in the Jewish calendar that resonates with every Jew's IDENTITY. That of the STRUGGLE under OPPRESSION to the DELIVERENCE to FREEDOM.

 

After 2 years of closures and restrictions due to COVID19 we are finally able to Celebrate PASSOVER  as a COMMUNITY

 

 

The Passover Holiday Schedule is as follows

Thursday April 14

 - Thursday night Bedikat Chametz -Searching for the Chametz after 8:16 pm

 

Friday April 15 @MAGHEN

- Fast of the First Born on erev of Pesach - This commemorates the miracle which spared the firstborn Jewish sons from the plague which struck down the firstborn sons of the Egyptians.

- Shaharit 7:00AM  Followed by a Siyoom for the First male borns (Gemara reading instead of Fasting). 

Male first borns must fast until the Seder unless they participate in a Mitzvah meal example. Brith Milah, wedding or a Siyoom of a tractate (Mishna, Gemara, Talmud). 

It is a Mitzvah very highly regarded by in our Lebanese Community. 

If a 1st born child is under 13 (Bar Mitzvah) the Father typically comes to Synagogue

- Stop eating Chametz by 10:10 am   

 - Burning of Chametz by 11:31 am

-  Mincha 6:45 pm followed by Arvit  

- 1st Seder Night Candle lighting BEFORE 7:22 pm

 

Saturday April 16 - Shabbat @MAGHEN

- Shacharit 9:00 am

- Mincha 6:45 pm NO Seuda Shelishit followed by Arvit and 1st count of the Omer  

- 2nd Seder night & lighting candles (from an existing fire) not before 8:29pm

 

Sunday April 17 @MAGHEN

- Shacharit 9:00 am  

- Mincha 7:15pm follow by Arvit 2nd night of Omer & Havdalah at 8:30pm

  

Thursday April 21 Eruv Tavshilin @MAGHEN  

- 6:30pm Mincha followed by Arvit/  6th night of Omer 

- Candle lighting BEFORE 7:30 pm

 

Friday Night April 22 @MAGHEN

- Shacharit 9:00 am  

 - Mincha 6:15pm followed by Shir Hashirim -Kabbalat Shabbat - Arvit &  7th night of Omer 

- Candle lighting  After 7:31 pm

 

Saturday April 23  -SHABBAT @MAGHEN

- 9:00am Shacharit

- Mincha 6:45 followed by Arvit  8th night of Omer 

 - Havdalah 8:39pm

DO NOT CONSUME HAMETZ BEFORE 9:30pm

Le temps est venu où l'une des fêtes les plus importantes du calendrier juif qui résonne avec l'IDENTITÉ de chaque juif. Celui de la LUTTE contre l'OPPRESSION à la LIVRAISON à la LIBERTÉ.

 

 

Après 2 ans de fermetures et de restrictions dues au COVID19, nous sommes enfin en mesure de célébrer PESAH en tant que COMMUNAUTÉ

 

Le calendrier des fêtes de la Pesah est le suivant

Jeudi 14 avril

- Jeudi soir Bedikat Hametz - Recherche du Hametz après 20h16

 

Vendredi 15 Avril @MAGHEN

- Jeûne des premiers-nés le jour de Pessa'h - Ceci commémore le miracle qui a épargné les premiers-nés juifs de la peste qui a frappé les premiers-nés des Égyptiens.

- Shaharit 7h Suivi par un Siyoom pour les premiers mâles nés (Lecture de Gemara au lieu de Jeune).

Les premiers-nés de  masculin doivent jeûner jusqu'au Seder à moins qu'ils ne participent à un de repas de Mitzvah. Brith Milah, mariage ou Siyoom d'un traité (Mishna, Gemara, Talmud).

C'est une Mitsva très appréciée par dans notre communauté Libanaise.

Si un enfant 1er né a moins de 13 ans (Bar Mitzvah), le père vient à la synagogue

- Arrêtez de manger Chametz avant 10h10

- Bruler le  Hametz avant 11h31

- Minha 18h45 suivi parArvit

-Allumage des bougies du 1er Seder AVANT 19h22

 

Samedi 16 avril - Chabbat @MAGHEN

- Sha'harit 9h00

- Mincha 18h45 PAS DE Seuda Shelishit suivi d'Arvit et 1er décompte de l'Omer

- 2e nuit de Seder et allumer des bougies (à partir d'un feu existant) pas avant 20h29

 

Dimanche 17 avril @MAGHEN

- Sha'harit 9h00

- Mincha 19h15 suivi d'Arvit 2ème nuit d'Omer & Havdalah à 20h30

 

Jeudi 21 avril Eruv Tavshilin @MAGHEN

- 18h30 Minha suivi d'Arvit/  6e nuit d'Omer

- Allumage aux bougies AVANT 19h30
